What does camel milk taste like?

Camel milk has a smooth, slightly salty, clean flavor. It contains less sugar than cow milk so it's not as sweet, but has a rich, satisfying taste. The consistency is very similar to 2% fat milk.

Why is camel milk so expensive?

Camels produce less than half the milk that cows produce in a day, there are far fewer camels in the US, and the milking process is more involved. You only need 3–8 oz per day to get the full nutritional benefits, making it very cost-effective as a supplement.

What if I am lactose intolerant?

Many customers who are lactose intolerant enjoy camel milk without digestive issues. Camel milk is naturally lower in lactose than cow milk and lacks two of the most allergenic casein proteins found in traditional dairy. We recommend starting with a small amount of 3–4 oz to see how your body responds.

How much camel milk should I drink per day?

Adults with no health conditions can drink 6–8 oz per day. Children should start with 3–4 oz per day. Those with pre-existing health conditions should consult their doctor first.

What day does my camel milk ship?

We ship frozen camel milk every Monday to all zones. We also ship Tuesday to most zones and Wednesday to Missouri and close neighboring zones. Dry products ship any business day. Orders placed after midnight Friday PST ship the following week.

Where does your camel milk come from?

Our fresh Grade-A camel milk comes from a family dairy farm in Missouri — the largest camel dairy in the USA with over 250 camels on 1,000 acres of organic pasture. The milk is flash pasteurized on-site and bottled and frozen directly on the farm before shipping.
