Our Farm & Practices

OUR MILK IS LOCALLY SOURCED - MADE IN THE USA!

Located on over 1,000 acres in the hill country of Missouri, our family-run farm is now the largest camel dairy in the USA. We now have about 200 camels!

Our farm adheres to organic practices, as well as standards that are Non-GMO, soy free, and gluten free (NO corn).

Our happy camels spend their days enjoying pastures of organic grass and hay. They are also fed an organic grain mixture which includes: Flax Seed, Sunflower Seed, Alfalfa, and Oats. They eat a vegetarian diet that is 100% soy free, corn free, & bean free.

FROM FARM TO YOUR FRONT DOOR!

Our licensed milk production facility is regularly tested to the highest standards. Our milk is farm bottled and shipped directly to your door!

This ensures the milk stays pure and does not get exposed to any contaminates.

Milk bottles are also PET and BPA free. To maintain freshness, our milk is shipped frozen in a secure cooler packed with ice.

FLASH PASTEURIZATION PROCESS

Unlike most milk that is ultra-pasteurized, our milk is flash (Lili) pasteurized to maintain the nutritional properties of the milk.

Flash pasteurization is a low-Input, low-Impact system that is gentle on the milk, resulting in a safe and delicious pasteurized product that can be sold on its own or used in other dairy products.

Flash pasteurizing maintains the natural nutritional value and delicious fresh flavor of camel milk.

HERD HEALTH

We routinely test our camels for Tuberculosis and Brucellosis in accordance with the Missouri State Milk Board.

Our herd is also tested monthly for Somatic Cell Count, Listeria, E coli O157, Salmonella, Campylobacter, and Coliforms at a certified food safety lab.

Camels must be routinely wormed, and we obtain fecal samples to check on our parasite levels. We use no antibiotics or hormones in our milking herd!
